Butler to lead Crop into the 2024-25 season

Cropredy Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Jake Butler as the club’s new First Team manager succeeding from Kieran Reading.

Butler takes up his first managerial role after serving in backroom staff positions at Ardley United, Redditch United and Easington Sports.

Upon his appointment Butler stated:

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to manage this football club. After speaking with Lawrence and some committee members I soon realised what a good opportunity this is for me to manage this club. I believe despite a disappointing season for the club last season, the club is in good hands and things off the pitch are heading in the right direction. My job now is put a team on the pitch that the club deserves and can be proud of”.

The club were impressed with the research and due dilligence Butler shown in the recruitment process and feel he will be a good fit for the players in the current squad and with incoming players. This is a brand new era for the club and hopefully the start of an exciting and successful one.

Pre-season information will be announced in due course opening with an open training session for exciting and any prospective new players. If interested in being part of the new dawn at Cropredy FC please get in touch on our socials or by email on cropredyfootballclub@hotmail.com
